JOB TITLE:  Fresh Cut Production Manager

Seeking an experienced processing manager for a fresh fruit and vegetables processing operation located in the Southwest region of the U.S.A.  Reporting to the CEO, the Production Manager is responsible for the entire fresh cut processing division.

Responsibilities:

• Meet Fresh-cut produce production deadlines in an efficient and cost effective manner

• Communicate and interact with managers of other departments to resolve issues and implement change (when needed) to facilitate growth

• Ensure production department operations are in compliance with food safety, quality assurance OSHA and company policies

• Enforce company policies consistently

• Development of new products and/or product lines

• Ensure accurate production reporting

• Retain current business and develop foundation for new growth

• Assemble a management team to cover 24 hour operation

Requirements: 

• BS degree is preferred.

• 5 to 7 years experience in fresh-cut processing management

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

• Must be experienced in production scheduling, personnel scheduling, inventory management and computer skills including excel, word

• Able to manage 60 + staff with a good percentage being Hispanic, able to organize data, personnel, equipment product, developing and implementing control systems

• Low-key, professional bearing, goal oriented, organized and proactive
