Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Location: Salinas, California
Basic Purpose: To provide support and assistance at all levels to the Sales Department.
We are looking to expand our sales team and need a motivated individual with a college degree who is looking for an entry-level position with a well-established company. This is a growth-opportunity position. The right candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented with good people skills. This position will report directly to the sales manager and work closely with our team of sales professionals. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to verbal/written communication with customers, suppliers & transportation agencies, sales order entry, coordinating export documentation, transportation and logistics.
Candidate must be willing to work long hours as needed, have good computer skills with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ag Experience a plus.
Sales order entry
Provide back-up for sales staff
Coordinate with Quality Control, Accounting, and Agricultural staff as needed
Coordinate orders with shipping, including detail & time sensitive export documentation
Perform special projects and assignments as directed
