Human Resource & Payroll Needed
Experience H/R & Payroll employee needed for growing company. Candidate will be responsible for wage and hour, new hire processing, payroll and all other human resources related issues. Serve as the staff specialist in safety and workerscompensation by developing and implementing procedures that effectively control accident.
*Responsible for Recruitment & retention of staff.
*Responsible for employee hiring paperwork and keeping accurate employee files.
*Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs & hiring potentials based on budget. Pre-screening, background investigation of new staff members & training.
*Provide safety leadership.
*Responsible for employee relations, including counseling & disciplining employees, terminations, & conducting exit interviews.
*Ensure information is communicated, understood and flows from management to employees and from employees to management.
*Provide technical advice and guidance on how to manage workplace related issues and make needed changes.
*Oversees company accident statistics and makes recommendations for correction of problem areas
*Keep updated on Federal and state labor and H/R Laws
*In charge of weekly employee payroll utilizing Paycheck Time and Labor
*Knowledge of MS Office, excel, word, etc.
*Excellent communication skills and people skills required
*Other duties as needed by management
*Valid Driver's License
*Important must bewilling to travel to Yuma, AZ Nov thru Mar
