Organic Farm Company is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Position Summary: This position will encompass many areas and cross over multiple departments to accomplish tasks for the owner of the company. The basic job is to do anything that the owner needs done.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: This job will require filtering email and phone calls for the owner as well as returning calls and keeping his calendar. Preparing records for his review. Gathering data from all departments to present for his approval. Scheduling meetings with employees or others as needed. You will be required to work directly with the operations manager and the CFO, as well as the owner.
Requirements and Job Skills: This will require a high level of confidentiality as well as the ability to exercise discretion. This job will require contact with many business contacts of the owner, and some who are personal friends of the owner. This job will require attention to detail, understanding priorities, follow through and accountability. The job requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, internet searches and general IT knowledge.
Work Schedule: This is a full time position. The hours are basically 8 per day, some Saturday work, and there may be some flexibility in the start time.
Physical skills, mental abilities and requirements: The ability to work in a fast paced open environment with several other employees if necessary. The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to collaborate with other to accomplish tasks for the owner.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
