We are looking for an experienced and passionate facility manager/grower to lead our research station in Florida.

What are you going to do?
As a Breeding Facility Manager, you will be responsible for providing optimum greenhouse and open field facilities for our research and commercial teams. To accomplish this, you work collaboratively towards creating and maintaining excellent growing standards and procedures. You will be a self-starter who can run a professional research station with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will solve issues by getting to the root of the problem and constructively bringing solutions forward. You will give cultivation technical support and you have continuous contact with local and international colleagues on the progress and quality of the crops. You visit vegetable growers to stay up to date on growing trends in the industry.
You are a solution-oriented team player with a positive attitude and global mindset. You stay on top of the latest industry developments and are able to transfer this knowledge to your local team. You look for the best possible way to achieve goals and improve processes. This requires a good balance of independence and teamwork. In this process, you are able to connect and collaborate effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Ag Sciences.
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in horticulture.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
