Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Procurement Specialist with booking orders with growers
  • Coordinate logistics
  • Input orders into ProducePro
  • Create invoices
  • Build relationships with members and growers
  • Read reports and analyze data
  • Ensure contract compliance
  • Provide assistance to Procurement Specialist as necessary
  • Assist with issues that may arise as product is loaded or during transit
  • Assist and resolve any issues, if product is Federally inspected
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Federal inspection process and understand inspection results
  • Receive and manage phone calls of a busy buying desk

Required Skills:

  • 3‐5 years of previous experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail within daily work assignment
  • Ability to review electronic information and compare against a hard copy and reconcile accordingly
  • Microsoft Office (Strong Excel Skills Preferred)
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
