Under general direction, the VP of Sales Strategy and Channel Development (VP, Sales) is responsible for achieving HeavyConnect’s sales objectives. The VP, Sales, is responsible for providing leadership, establishing strategy, and building, developing, training, and managing a direct sales team. Responsible for sales activities, advising reps on deal development, closing business, and mentoring sales team personnel. As a member of the Sr. Leadership Team you will be part of the decision-making process at the highest level, including but not limited to long/short term planning, strategy, company direction, etc

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The VP, Sales reports directly to the President/CEO.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following, other duties may be assigned:

 Refine sales strategy to incorporate direct sales model and channel partners management
 Oversee all hiring, and on-boarding of sales personnel.
 Establish performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
 Support CEO in managing channel partners and provide insight.
 Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities
 Initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
 Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department
 Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
 Maintain and develop relationships with customers in an effort to market the company's sales, programs and contracts in a manner designed to generate the highest possible return
 Seek out new accounts and revenue-generating opportunities that support the company’s mission and create sustainable growth for the company.
 Develop and improve operational systems that increase efficiency and profitability across the sales process.
 Recruit, develop, mentor, and lead the sales, marketing and support teams.
 Lead by example and doing, in all areas, including dealing with people and customer service.
 Develop annual sales plans to drive revenue and increase market share.
 Drive and lead continuous development and refinement of the processes, procedures, systems and protocols.
 Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend tactical strategies.
 Provide the highest level of integrity and promote a positive company image inside and outside the organization.
 Create sales and margin goals.
 Develop and leverage sales and margin performance analytics that help continually increase sales and profitability.
 Closely monitor the market and competition and advise the leadership team on changes in the market (i.e.competitive pricing, new products, etc.).
 Seek out, plan, and attend industry and customer-specific trade shows, conferences, and meetings with prospective
and existing customers.

 Experience in sales driven environment.
 Minimum 3 years experience in customer service based technology role
 Must be upbeat, positive, professional and reliable with excellent communication skills.
 Must be proficient in MS Office programs.
 Writes and speaks clearly and articulately to many levels of audiences.
 Advanced organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
 Quality and customer focused. Exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
 Proactive with problem solving ability.
 Easily builds rapport with employees, superiors, clients, vendors and prospects.
 Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and mature minded approach to business.
 Experience effectively managing customer service issues.
 Fluency in English and Spanish preferred but not a requirement.
 Familiarity with automated data processing system
 High work ethic and leadership qualities
 Bachelors degree in relevant major; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary: $100,000.00 Base, $150,000.00 Commission - OTE $250,000
