This is an entry-level Produce Transportation Sales position where you will be working in one of our regional offices.  This position is PHYSICALLY located in Paulsboro, NJ. In this position, you will work in a team to provide C.H. Robinson's logistics services to businesses with fresh produce needs.  You will be in daily contact with customers of various sizes, building relationships, problem solving, and assessing their produce needs.  You will source equipment from more than 45,000 contracted carriers in order to accommodate each client's needs.  You will have options to utilize truck, rail, ocean liner and air cargo.  But, there's more to this job than selling - much more.  You'll be making it happen too!  Using our extensive base of carrier services you will put together a plan for each client.  This requires figuring out the best way to solve your clients’ tough supply chain problems and then negotiating the best deals with carriers in North America.  You will then implement your solution, and handle the day-to-day challenges that are presented in the transportation industry.  The role is three-dimensional; it involves buying, selling and problem solving.
