We are currently searching for Production Master Scheduler to develop and execute the processing schedule that balances the needs of Manufacturing, Sales/Customer Service, Inventory, and cost goals.  The Production Master Scheduler will be responsible for planning the daily production line schedule and plant capacities with the goal to minimize excess inventories, plant change-overs and optimization of raw material opportunities.

The Production Master Scheduler will communicate cross functionally with Sales, Procurement, Shipping, Receiving, and Production Managers to remain updated on any new forecasts or changes in demand that will affect production or capacity.

Reporting requirements include sales weekly and monthly forecast modules, raw procurement daily/weekly yield forecast modules and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Reports.  Additional position requirements include the coordination and leadership of management meetings and recommendations on new strategies and tools to improve processes and increase forecast accuracy.

Ideal Production Master Scheduler candidates will have a BA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing or related field.  3 to five years of Manager level experience in planning, forecasting or scheduling required; APICS certification preferred.  A strong understanding of Supply Chain processes, including the ability to leverage technologies to improve performance (advanced planning software, MRP, WMS, etc.), is paramount to the success of the position.

Exceptional analytical abilities, written and oral communication, and interpersonal negation skills are a MUST; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.  Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, WMS and MRP required. Work schedule may include participation in Saturday rotation.
