Keenan Farms is a progressive grower, processor and marketer of California Pistachios.  We are located in the beautiful rural setting of the Western-Central San Joaquin Valley.  Nearly 40 years ago 80 acres of pistachio trees were planted near Avenal, California.  The adventurous Charlie Keenan purchased the pistachio acreage with little knowledge of this “new” California Crop.  It has been 31 years since the first marketable crop came off those trees and now Keenan Farms has grown to be the 3rd largest pistachio grower, processor & marketer of California Pistachios in the United States.
 
Today, Keenan Farms contracts with numerous growers in addition to farming our own 500 acres.  We hull/dry, sort, roast, package and ship pistachios around the world.  The central nerve of Keenan Farms is our Quality Control department.  Keenan Farms is the only USDA Partners in Quality facility in the pistachio industry and Keenan is also a USDA accredited laboratory for Aflatoxin.  Our unrelenting adherence to shipping our consumers around the world, delivering a superior product to consumers is our number one objective.  Keenan Farms is the longest running continuous grower/processor of California Pistachios.  We are very proud to be a part of this incredible growing industry.
