In 1967, the concept of a modern, customer-oriented produce company was born with the opening of Progressive Produce.  Taking the whole potato production process — wholesaling, packing, refrigeration, transportation and sales — under one roof was just the first in a long line of innovations that have now become industry standards.  The company grew rapidly and today has expanded into an 110,000 square foot security-controlled warehouse that anchors the operation in Los Angeles, with a smaller facility in Edison, California.  In addition to its own drivers, Progressive’s trucking subsidiary has access to over 70 drivers with refrigerated trailers, making superior service not just a possibility, but a reality.
